Great talk. At this point the Sudanese diaspora has to be the solution. As the brother said we need to organise better, have a unified set of demands, advocate loudly and fundraise within our community. We need to set the pace and example and inshallah the world will begin to follow our lead. But if we wait on the world to wake up, we’ll watch 2.5 million souls perish by September. I will NOT stand for that!

The reasons the factions supporting RSF support them is not to pay back for their support in Yemen, Libya, etc. It's to reistutionalize Sudan's army with the RSF as the new core. This would get rid of the certain Islamist groups currently embedded in the army (mainly from Bashir's time). The understanding is the Sudan, like Egypt, can only be controlled by military means. Something the naive revolutionaries don't understand. Sudan's geostrategic position means Israel, UAE, US, etc would never allow another Bashir that is antithetical to their aims for the red sea region.

Also, the reason democratic processes are not supported in Sudan is because the pro-democracy globalists that promote the liberal world order understand that democracy is Sudan is not good for them. Why? The religious + nationalist nature of the Sudanese people means they would likely vote in a way not conducive to who they support. Islamists would likely come back in power, this time through the voting booth and with legitimacy. Peace to Sudan insha'Allah. From a Somali brother.
