I finally! Got to go and watch these 3 funny ladies in Norwich at the end of March and they sang this song. Absolutely brilliant they really are and if they're visiting a theatre near you then go and watch them. "Suddenly New Zealand...."

It’s not all it’s cracked up to be here in NZ, coming from an Irishman that’s been here almost 20 years now. It was better years ago but lately it’s on the brink of collapse thanks to labour and their response to the plandemic, agenda 21/2030, the world economic forum and the UN. We’re sold down the river pretty much like the rest of the world.

True needs updating. But being married to a Kiwi the first time we saw this at an open air concert at Arundel Castle she nearly wet herself. We played it to our NZ relations when we were down there and they thought it was hilarious. Good Kiwis can laugh at themselves🤪🤪🤪

But Gilbert himself was an expert satyrist, taking a pop at the Trumps & Blairs of his day! Sir Joseph Porter, in HMS Pinafore, became the "ruler of the Queen's Navy" without once going to sea! And most productions of The Mikado have some very topical and pointed amendments to KoKo's "little list" of people who "never would be missed". I think Gilbert & Sullivan would heartily approve of FA's version!
