Darlings! My first song in several months, in my re-fashioned studio. The performance is raw, as requested, and I await your valued verdicts with the anticipation of a small and extremely cute man-eating plant, who has secreted itself in the garden of its predecessor’s owner, fully intent on world domination …
Ahem.
Happy Halloween!

[Video Description: Elizabeth is sitting on her faithful bamboo chair in her makeshift studio, clad in a light-blonde, chin-bobbed, fringed wig, short-sleeved, bolero-style white crocheted cardigan and square-necked little black dress. With English-rose make-up, blue eyeshadow, shiny pink lips, a silver bangle, brooch and clip-on dangly earrings, she is as close to movie-Audrey - the exquisite Ellen Greene - as she can get. After a brief introduction in an accent that is in no way as impressive as the aforementioned’s, she watches above her, wide-eyed with fear and awe, as the invisible Seymour sings his devotion and even hands her a tissue (well, it was the mic stand, but still) with which to remove her lipstick, which she does. As Seymour’s comforting words register, Elizabeth transforms from terribly upset and disbelieving of his adoration for (her character of) Audrey, to genuinely thrilled that he really, truly loves her, which becomes even more apparent as their duet begins in earnest and she reciprocates her increasingly elated feelings towards him. Finally, upon reaching a literally breath-taking climax, Elizabeth is smiling with pure joy: Seymour is HER man. Afterwards, still somewhat hypoxic, she explains why she is so absent in recent months, and foggily forgets to thank her followers for their continued kindness and support, but she does remember to send them love - twice!]
