Thank you for the detailed video! Very good! How would you organize a Real Estate flow: prospect (target), lead (lead), customer. Customer starts the confusion because it can be a contact, it can be an account. If you buy a list of properties, is that target or opportunity? How to deal with the lead that is an actual customer (contact, account?) dealing with a real object (property in escrow)? What about the escrow? Should I a module for escrows? One Customer (I am inclined to use Contact as the customer) may have more than one deal (hopefully!), so each property would be an opportunity?). Any idea would be greatly appreciated!!

Without a full understanding of your sales process it's pretty hard to comment on the best way for you to set it up. However, I would use leads as anyone you don't have a signed contract with and are pursuing and use "contacts" for clients whom you are under contract with or were under contract with in the past. Targets you could use for like an email list of people you've never met or talked to but are trying to engage with.

Hi, I have downloaded the latest version of suitcrm and installed it into my system(windows10). I can able to create a pdf template but when I click print as pdf it produces corrupted PDFs. please give me a solution to solve this problem.

I'd really recommend you install in on a Webserver. It was designed to be installed and used on the web. My guess is it's using the PDF software on your PC that's not working.

Hi Paul, great talks... I was wondering, how to handle consumers? Most of our business is done with consumers and not with businesses

No problem, you could just use the same account name for everyone. You don't need to display the account name at all, you can hide if from views and also on quotes, etc. Ideally, SuiteCRM is design for B2B, but you can make it work.

Hi Paul, I've enjoyed and learned a lot from your videos. I want to use the Targets/Target Lists mechanism with my existing contacts to send updates, newsletters. You describe Targets as entries you don't know much about. Is there another mechanism I should be working with for familiar, friendly contacts? Thank you.

Target lists can be leads and contacts as well. Target lists are used for marketing purposes. The "record" for lack of a better word, being a "target" or a "lead" is different from being on a target list. Sounds confusing I know. Feel free to reach out to me and I'd be happy to explain or review what you're doing.

Hey Paul. Is there a way to add dashlets to any module or sub module? For example, Accounts and Contacts (or Targets, Leads, Opportunities)? Essentially, can you have a dashboard That sits as the landing page/home page for any module or sub module?

Not that I know of. However, you can create as many "tabs" as you want on the dashboard and you could create a dashboard that relates to each module if you like. For example I have a dashboard tab for "opportunities' that shows various things I track in regard to "opportunities".
