Thanks for your comment. Class 27005 is part of the SRPS core collection and will always be based at Bo'ness. It might venture to other heritage railways after its restoration but thats a few years away.

I really need to go there if i ever go to Scotland, May i ask is the line walking distance from a mainline station?

The nearest mainline station to Bo'ness is Linlithgow, approx 3.6 miles and not a safe road to walk. There is a bus service via both towns. Taxi fare is approx £10 each way from station to station. Most of our Diesel and steam galas have a free bus service from Linlithgow to Bo'ness. Check the website for details. Thanks for commenting.
