You have to lift your partners entire bodyweight with your leg to pull this off, seems low percentage

Not quite! I do this with a kimura grip and if I throw a 75kg guy it only feels like my quad has to bear 15-30kg, which is fine. Something to do with the momentum. Sakuraba used to hit the kimura grip sumi gaeshi on anyone who would let him connect his hands, sacrifice throws can have decent percentage if you attempt them at the right time with your opponent in the right posture.

I assume you're not a judoka so I can understand why you would think that, but there is no lifting involved, watch the video again.

You’re not really lifting, you’re using the momentum from roll to flip them over. That’s why you step in first to get your hips close to them and fall back.

Done at a right time it's super HIGH PERCENTAGE throw. Especially if the other guy had never seen this technique before. Once you have their posture broken down like that it's pretty the end. More difficult to apply if u r going against judoka but then disguise it with attempt of uchimata for example and change direction for sumi gaeshi. Setup and timing is a key, throw itself isefortless.
