For an excellent description of the loop depicted in this video, plus a map of the Dolly Sods (pdf), visit Hiking Upward: www.hikingupward.com/MNF/Doll...
The loop in this video is also very similar to a featured hike in the Dolly Sods on Hiking Project. www.hikingproject.com/trail/7...
The difference is that Hiking Project suggests taking Dobbin Grade, which is often very muddy and wet, with ankle to waist deep swampy sections. Instead, we recommend a short jaunt on Dobbin Grade from Upper Red Creek Trail to the Raven Ridge Trail. Head north on Raven Ridge, then heading east on Bear Rocks Trail back to the Bear Rocks Trailhead. This route adds more miles to the hike than taking Dobbin Grade, but is more scenic and avoids a wet and messy hike!
