The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) and the Seamless Summer Option (SSO) provide free, nutritious meals and snacks to help children in low-income areas receive the nutrition they need to learn, play, and grow, throughout the summer months when they are out of school. See summer meals in action at the Cheyenne -- Eagle Butte feeding site where the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe has been successfully operating the program for 11 years.
