Good video. A wee tip though, dont flick your bail arm over once u cast, let the lure hit the bottom then put your bail over n start jigging your lure back, after a few jigs leave it to hit the bottom again then jig again. That way youll take the cod and the pollock on that mark. I hate that step over too, its brutal eh 😂

Buzzing this channel popped up. Am from bedlington and just starting to get into sea fishing (always fly fished) I recognise this mark from slippys videos also. Do you just park at the lighthouse? Great content BTW 👌

Aye park at the light house and walk left a bit and then head down the side to that spot…it’s a bit naughty but easy manageable…appreciate that alot thank you 🎣

Just had a chance to watch this now as phone was cut off for not paying bill on time Lol.. I'd love to try there for lure fishing like, I would go for the rubber type lures with a lead head (forgot the real name) they seem very productive - maybe drop slippy a message I'm sure he would do a session with you. It's all trial n error mate - it puzzles me something a mackerel would take seems different to a pollock. Ps I thought someone was about to go for a swim after landing that fish. Ha. Next time take a selection of different lures, a few casts each one then swap, I've heard to check the depth count down by seconds, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 etc then reel in, next cast count 6, 7, 8 etc, gives a rough idea of depth your fishing in. 🎣

You wanna be using either a set of daylights and a 2oz lead or ...a razorclaw silver minnow 42gm or depending on rods casting weight

Canny vid next time you go to another mark and ya not sure of the depths try a old nut and or bolt or an old spark plug and let it hit the bottom saves losing a lure tight lines mate 😎🇬🇧👍

Nice video lads 👍🎣 One of my local spots 🎣 Google supatacks studs and put a dozen or so 3000A in the sole of each boot 👍 will make a massive difference in grip on rock marks 👍

Great video as always mate. Always nice to hear a familiar accent. I'm heading down to Kilnsea on Saturday for the first time... Apparently plenty of thornies, smoothies, bass and a few cod coming out all from the same beach. 🤞
