Went back and watched almost all of your old videos while on the bike, this summer series is quickly becoming one of my favorites! Your channel just makes me so excited to get back into running after my runner's knee is healed. Keep up the amazing quality, this one in particular made my dinner 100x better, probably gonna have to rewatch it on the bike tomorrow so I can take in more of the frames and cool shots 😊

@@LukeTalbot3 Awesome, and thanks a lot! Just an easy bike ride for active recovery, but having some great content to watch makes those boring indoor bike sessions go by a lot faster 😁

Why not any single leg/arm excercises when lifting as a runner? No hate just curious training looks great
@LukeTalbot3

@@Liamstutz To be honest with you, single leg exercises are absolutley where it’s at! I try to mix them in when I can, but unfortunately I don’t have a ton of time in the gym right now to do that. Definitely will focus more on it throughout the fall!

I recommend trying Maurten gels, they are pricier but they go down much much easier than gu in my opinion

@@joshuabehuniak7617 Appreciate the info 🤝 I’ve heard good things about Maurten and BPN gels so I may switch to one of those once I finish the Gu’s. I just gotta save up a little first 😅

@@LukeTalbot3 I've heard good things about BPN too, looking to try those soon. I only recently switched from Gu to Maurten, but used Gu for my first 3 marathons. They can be tough to take without water sometimes because of how thick they are, but the price is tough to beat!

@@joshuabehuniak7617 Yeah i was thinking the same thing, though, if you have strava and complete the feed sponsorship challenge you can get some of the Gel’s discounted and I think that’s what I’m gonna try to do so maybe that will help a little 😂

Sick vid again! Do you have any time to rot or do something that isn’t training, working, and editing or is it a race against time everyday waking up at 4am.

Most days I have a couple hours to relax, if possible I’ll try to take a nap to help with recovery, but there are days where I’m racing against the clock!

any tips for overusing shin muscle it gets super tight at a mile

Warm up your shins before exercise, my high school coach taught us a drill called “SSP” or “Shin splint prevention” which is basically just a bunch of different hell/toe walking. You can search up on youtube “shin stretches” and find a lot of videos with different ways to stretch and that should help before and after runs!

Why wear Pegasus? They’re total crap. 💩 Actually it seems like you only wear Nike. Definitely not my first choice with the possible exception of the Vaporflys.

For me personally, I haven’t worn a shoe brand that has felt nearly as comfortable as Nike does. Personal preference at the end of the day, but Nike does sponsor some of the best runners in the world, if there shoes were crap I feel like the probably wouldn’t have signed with Nike lol
