❤WV! ❤Appalachia. Summers is home to a town by the same name as my own, Brooks, WV! Plus, my childhood hero J. Henry the steel drivin’ man!

Both of my grandparents lived in Greenbrier County, WV. Sometimes we would travel pass the John Henry Statue and Alderson to go to one grandparents' house in Williamsburg in Eastern Greenbrier County. Other times, we would stop and visit Sandstone Falls and Rainelle on our way to my other grandparents' home in Quinwood in Western Greenbrier County, WV. Eventually, we started taking I-77 and I-64 and the Midland Trail to make our trips shorter.

This was pretty cool to watch. All my family is from there. My grandma and grandpa went to the original Hinton high school that is now a museum. I have been going to pipestem state park my entire life. I will show this to my grandma. she would love to see this. We also have roots in mercer and Pocahontas counties as well.

It seems you have forgotten Marion County! Civil war battle. Birthplace of Mary Lou Retton. Birthplace of Nick Sabon. Monongah mine disaster. Devout love of the Sheetz gas station chain. There’s plenty of meaty content in that County they call Marion!
