Is that a rack or running walk? Looks like a racking horse TWH.

Thankyou very much for training in his own natural gait. I hope one day soon we will b able to see natural gaited walkers at the National Celebration in Shelbyville again, without any big lick trained horses. My cousin Betty Faye Sain was the first woman and youngest rider to win the Celebration in 1966 on her beloved stallion Shakers Shocker. He was flat shod. She would have never sored her beautiful boy. Summit is a true glide ride, just gorgeous. Thanks for sharing your beautiful boy with everyone. Especially because it shows how smooth the natural gait is to the HEINOUS over exaggerated big lick.

im from Dominican Republic and in my hometown we have a race that is very similar to the Tennessie Walker, actually our horses have Tennessie, Morgan, Berber and Andaluz in their DNA but the way they walk is very similar to this horses, the difference is thay our horses dont shake the head, they are just a little more muscular and their steps are shorter and the legs move faster like between Paso Fino and Tennessie Walker ... so basically our horses are more elegant with their higher head position and the way they walk but i can tell they bring their resistance for long walks from this Tennessie horses

Какой прекрасный у лошади ход! Мягкий, текучий, плавный. Без ботинок намного лучше.

Is this gait more or less fatiguing for the horse than their natural untrained gaits?

U never should ride a 2 yr. old. Horses that age aren’t fully grown and you will damage their body if you start to ride them if they haven’t reached the age of 3,5.... A 2 yr. old is like a child. Their bones haven‘t fully grown. This is abuse wtf

Look at that...His walking gait is almost as fast as other breeds' trots! I see why they revere the TWH the way they do...

We don't own this horse he was only here for training, just because he is a TWH doesn't mean he is going to be ridden with chains and sored or put on pads.

You don't know what is going to happen to any horse once they are sold no matter what breed. I do know the people that bought this horse from the lady we trained him for and they are not into showing padded horses they bought him to trail ride. This horse would be too racky gaited for the padded show people anyhow, they want them to pace in order to carry the pads.

A horse has four movements walk trot canter gallop this is none of them just drags himself along a horse has to engage its back end they only learn what they are taught dont waste such stunning animal on old ways teach him to engage his hind end and move with the times

This horse was not "taught" to do anything, his gait is a natural rack, you must not know all of your gaits. There are many other gaits besides a walk, trot, canter and gallop. What about the rack, pace, singlefoot?? All those are gaits. This horse is 100% natural and performed his gaits on his own.
