Absolutely amazing bike. The Gold Wing sets a high bar in smoothness and performance. There are many bikes people buy for all reasons. Some, many for purely the image, and that’s totally cool. But I gotta say if any of them actually rode one of these new generation Gold Wings they’d be very impressed. It’s just their riding buddies and all the branded bike apparel they’ve accumulated would need to be dealt with. At the end of the day though. Whatever bike makes you want to turn around for one more look as you walk away, That’s the bike for you. Peace.

Great footage of why 12.9 person per 100000 dies on US roads, compared to 4,6 in Europe. In the US, the passing lane is used as a travel lane, forcing people to overtake on the right side on slower vehicles. Don’t the police enforce traffic laws over there?
@LOVEthatRR

That’s every day here in CA. Tons of left lane drivers - other states are better at enforcing but not here.

Sadly Honda has chosen to design a motorcycle without asking their customers what they would like. A helmet holder at the left leg of the passenger ? No non-glare instrument cluster cover ? Fuel door release on wrong side of bike ? Almost no fairing storage ? OEM seat is like a brick ? Wind management due to less fairing protection ? Along with all the other problems this bike had from redesign. Why is it that Honda removed 10% of the bike only for its customers to purchase that 10% aftermarket. This bike was not designed by anyone that rides a motorcycle

OK, I've re-watched this vid about 100 times. It has gotten me through the winter up here on the east coast of Canada. Can't decide if it's the sun, scenery, or the humming rumble of that beautiful 6 cylinder boxer or a combination of all three that does it for me. I have a 2021 DCT Tour AirBag that I am chomping at the bit to get back on. Heading down to Georgia at the end of April to shake off the winter blues. Thanks for helping to keep me sane in the mean time Dan.

I traded my 2013 FJR 1300 for Goldwing last fall . I put over 40k miles on it . It was a great reliable motorcycle that I had no problems with. But ask my wife what one she would rather ride on the back of. The front suspension bottoming is something Honda should fix on all 2018 and newer Wing's. I know there is aftermarket fixes, but this motorcycle is to expensive to have customers put up with this problem .

I watch a lot of biker videos and bike evaluations. I’m trying to decide which bike i’ll buy and i’m concerned more about body comfort at 6’4”. I rode an Indian Vintage 6,000 miles on a 10 day trip and never got tired or sore. Loved the Indian but if the Honda Goldwing would be as comfortable as the ride on the Indian, I’d buy Honda. Any advise?
@LOVEthatRR
3 жыл бұрын
I’m 5’10” so I don’t think I would be much help with comfort advice for someone taller than I but I can tell you that the ergonomics are great on this bike and with the aftermarket there are options to make it fit your style. Personally, I don’t have the need for highway pegs but I can see how they would be useful. There are, at times, when I think risers would be useful though. But as is, a great machine.
