Good morning you awesome war torn camera geeks! Today is the return of Sunday Stories! In the early 2000's I was having back and forth email correspondence with a well known editor of a photography magazine.
Today, lens to camera adapters are plentiful, but back then they were not. As a huge fan of #olympus #zuiko lenses, I was debating with the editor about why it should be possible to create an OM-EOS adapter. My reason was that the large mouth of the EOS mount made it possible. The magazine editor did not believe it could be done, but a couple of years later I was proven right when #suddenly a company called Kindai (Now Rayqual) made the adapter. I was one of the first to receive a copy and I was stoked to be able to use my cherished Zuiko lenses on EOS Digital.
In this video, I will also touch a little bit on the dark side of photography with my recollection of this once respected magazine editor. I am not at liberty to say his name, but if you know who I'm talking about, feel free to comment!
If you make it to the end there a BONUS Sunday song for you good folks! :-)
