Fun fact about Mercury: due to the characteristics of its orbit around the Sun and the fact that it orbits faster than it spins at the perihelion, sometimes the Sun appears to stop and even go backwards in the horizon. This can cause double sunrises and double sunsets if you stay in the appropiate place.

I have a strange "phobia" of seeing massive planets from the surface of their moons, so this triggered some of that. Yeah, I know. Weird. When I was very young, I saw an illustration from a book of some astronauts on the surface of a fictional planet's moon, about to come around the foot of some mountains and they'd have seen most of their sky suddenly filled with some gas giant. I could imagine them being startled by it. And since then, I carry that same weird fear with me. How's that for f*cked up and specific? lol Anyway, yeah, great video.

Full day on Pluto, it's just like a dim evening, but still enough bright to see. Considering the distance from the sun, it's quite amazing.

Space engine is so cool... what settings did you have on? The surfaces of the planets looks so much less detailed when I play

Mad props to the camera man for his willingness to endure the intense heat and pressure on the Venusian surface just to catch a sunrise.

Amazing video! All are beautiful, but none more beautiful than Earth's. Now, if like me, there is also another Sailor Moon fan here, admit that you also imagined the sailor's castles on each of these planets.
