Bill is a master who created many masters like Bob Ross by sharing his all of his great knowledge without hazitation and without hiding anything from his students. Hats off to this great artist. And one more thing is that he was a great observer of Nature and that is why he could exactly paint what he sees in the nature After watching his simplest style of teaching I feel like truly everyone can paint. Thanks Bill enjoyed it a lot 😊

Mislim da ste veliki romantik i ljubavnik, koji strasno ljubi svoju dragu dok je ljubi, takav odnos Vi imate prema vašim slikama, vašim ljubavnica ma. Samo napred prijatelju, dok je vatre u vama. He s even better than Bob Ross ! I know he taught him But he s wild country pictures look a bit more real life than Bobs who s were great but looked a bit regimental where as Bills were wild . I did attend the Bob Ross course in Blackburn England in 1998 t was very enjoyable

This was beautiful and effortless. U are legendary 🙏 He definitely should have painted the bright metal on his palette knife and brush bezels. The glare takes a little away from his great art lessons. Oh yeah... Am I the only one who saw the two faces on the sun lit side of the first rock 🤔 I know he didn't intentionally paint it with the palette knife but it made the painting even better for me 😊

I’m very sure it was a black gesso. I know Bob Ross used black canvases as well and made them with black gesso, then applied transparent colors to the gesso

When I do similar paintings I’ll use linseed oil or liquin. Just something to get the canvas a little wet

Magic clear/liquid clear. Black canvas from store or use flat black latex paint (dried) or black gesso (dried.) then your choice of clear medium over it. Thin coat.
