Hey huge inspiration im c5-6 too, can you answer me a few questions pls? -What chair do you use? Titanium? -What kind of push rims do you use? Are turns and going backwards hard? -What cushion do you use? -What suppository do you use for bowel program, and do you do bowel program every day? -How tall are you? -How long after injury could you drive car independently (break down chair transfer in etc) -Were you ever depressed? -What do you think of power assist wheels? legitsrs hi man sorry for delay, not always checking KZitem comments. Ur questions: I quickie helium, alu, but just as light as any titanium, but when it's already a good chair material and weight not that important, it's all about setup. Push rims I use a vinyl coating but this is personal preference though, rubber gives more grip but also burns more breaking . Backwards is harder without triceps but I rather pull from front of wheel using biceps, again, chair setup makes huge difference! Turns is pretty easy on smooth surface but any carpets is no fun so use the walls with arms where I can. Cushion I use jay lite, jay extreme and Roho mosaics for flying but this really is something you have to play with and do pressure mapping to make surely good for your body... Used to use dolcolax but with eating right a lot of training in my sport I now get it to work about every second to third day on my own. I know when it will go or is coming so then need to get to toilet fast.obviouslly this cant work for everyone so playing and getting into rhythm with suppository is better then, but excersise and good diet with fiber is bessential.. I'm 183/184cm I drove my own car and got in the car putting chair in less around a year after my accident but I'm a bit of a freak and was really focused in fuguring out how to do stuffs and when I say focused I mean waking up at night with a new idea and lying awake refining, so a bit crazy in most people's eyes. But again excercise equals strength equals independence... I'm a man of faith and it truly saved me from any depression but had great support too, and again going on doing stuff, sport, working small jobs etc helps for this and as you get stuff done by yourself it motivates you ... If you do lots of pushing in daychair and powerassist helps you be independant then why not... Thanks, just keep working at it and do stuff with or without assistance, it's important to live life and with today's technology there is so much for us to go out and do. Remember when a bad thing happens it's an opportunity to be great, but it's starts within yourself!!Cheers, good luck!
