I honestly don’t know what to do at this point because when assembling, I push the screen all the way to the right, meaning that when turning it over, the left side of the screen shouldn’t have any dead zones/black gaps. Cool mod, but regarding one of your Amazon links... you do realize that a screen protector that blocked blue light wouldn't allow you to see the color blue on that device's screen, right? At best the product you're promoting is a UV-blocking film, which incidentally would be 100% pointless because your phone doesn't emit UV light. Just a friendly observation, because I'm sure you wouldn't consider any commission you'd earn from that link to be worth misleading your viewers.

@HiroPlaysGames

@@JamesChats Aw man, you're right. I missed the part of the product listing that said it only blocks the HEV spectrum, so that means I don't know what I'm talking about *at all*. I admittedly should have read the product listing more closely before commenting, but such a dismissive response is a worse look than just ignoring the comment entirely. My basic point still stands: the fact that it's blocking part of the *visible* spectrum of light means either 1) there's color your phone is putting out that you're no longer able to see once the filter is applied, *or* 2) it's blocking a part of the spectrum that your phone isn't emitting. That's kinda just how light works. I'd encourage you to look into double-blind studies that have been done on this subject. No good evidence has been found that blue light reducing filters have any significant benefit whatsoever; they don't help reduce eye fatigue or prevent ocular damage, and they don't prevent the disruption of the human circadian rhythm. That goes for filters that truly block the entire blue spectrum as well as those that only block the HEV spectrum. I've looked for studies indicating that there is a benefit, but it seems like only the folks trying to sell blue light reducing filters have come to that conclusion. So when it comes down to it, products like this are either blocking out part of the visible color spectrum for no good reason, or they're not actually blocking anything.
