It isnt really easy to play a guitar it takes so much practice and dedication your finger gets sores at first and trying to play some songs that is way above your level is kind of a deterrent for some but if it is easy for you that is great

@@shaquilledowlin1610 just gotta keep playing through. Eventually you’ll get callus on your fingertips so that won’t be an issue. Learning simple chords like these are best to start out with and perfect as well as strumming patterns and time signatures. I then suggest moving onto songs that are a bit harder than ones a beginner would be used to. Depends on what kind of guitarist one wants to be. I practiced to be a singer/songwriter so I love chord progressions and melodies.
@shaquilledowlin1610

@@yesmamnosir7997 Thanks for the advice. I am trying to get learn barre chords now, was avoiding them all the time. I can kind of play them good enough so teh strings ring out but switching from an open chord to a barre chord is a challenge. I prefer fingerpicking more than strumming so it is like mistakes on the strings you are plucking are more noticeable than when you are strumming.
@yesmamnosir7997
3 жыл бұрын
@@shaquilledowlin1610 barre chords are good to learn cause your fingers will def get better with the fretboard while using chords and you can learn and memorize the sound of each chord faster IMO, but in my experience I’ve never even used a barre chord while playing unless I was playing a Bmaj chord. It’s better probably just learning the CAGED system. Strumming or finger picking either way is good and will be useful. Do you though and like I said just keep at it and holding down chords will soon just become second nature. Then it’s time to learn some scales and some music theory. The circle of fifths will become your best friend. Good luck!

Thank you so much for this tutorial it helped me allong greatly :D I'm practicing this and i go from e to a minor 2 bars e than 2 bars something...just move all your fingers in the same posistion as e but than one string down (sorry i don't know wich note that is again) .Just to keep some variation in it while practising.

One thing I notice on all kinds if not most beginner lessons. Is they never tell you what’s going to happen to your fingers when u first start playing. I’m teaching my boy and the first thing he said was I hate this. It hurts my fingers. Yes. You will get blisters at first. So I recommend 30 min a day for 1-2 weeks. Then you will be fine.
