Honestly the hardest part was staying awake 😂 We were so tired because we just got to California the day before & were still trying to adjust to the time. We missed getting to see this on our last trip and it meant a lot to us to get to experience it this time. Thank you so much for bringing up the graphics because I really try to make them match the video when I can 😊 We really appreciate your kind words, thank you so much for watching!

Thankfully the 5am LA traffic wasn't too bad. The 2 pm traffic on the other hand was wild 😆. Our brinner was delicious 😋. We really appreciate your support!

Wow. Place looks awesome. I can’t wait to experience it for myself. Idk if I would trust quick Service short rib lol but the chicken sandwich is right up my alley. The first time I ever went down the escalator I was terrified lol it’s so steep.

Definitely a place you have to experience! To be fair, I've heard very positive reviews on the Short Rib. I think I just got a bad batch. The chicken sandwich was a highlight for sure. Especially since it had a mustache. The escalator is like a thrill ride 😆. I always love seeing the mountains in the background when it's not hazy. Excited for the Orlando version of Super Nintendo World in 2025 🙂.

Ohhh so exciting!! We would LOVE to go to Super Nintendo World. First ones in - woo hoo! It looks so cute. Love the warp pipe. Wow no availability that early already for Toadstool cafe! It is way too cute in there! I love the lightning going off. I love how they serve your meal. The Luigi sandwich is so cute. Glad to hear its an 8 too! LOL The mushroom soup is so cute - so glad to hear it's delicious too. The princess peach cupcake is so pretty. Princesses DO have to have sparkles haha. I am the same, I don't need much icing, but Greg is the opposite, he would rather just eat the icing I think haha. I would love to go on the studios tour! It is too bad how far apart Disney and Universal are in California. We are spoiled on the east coast lol. Awesome video you guys :)

The warp pipe entrance is really kinetic. Toadstool theming was perfect too. The Luigi Chicken Sandwich and Mushroom soup were the stars 🌟 to us. Everyone has their own ideal icing to cupcake ratio. I think Greg would like this cupcake considering 😆. Definitely a different world in Cali given the LA traffic. Still so happy we went though. Thank you 🙂.

It seems to me that the early entry tickets are the way to go! I'm always willing to pay for insider access...my larger problem is usually the issue of trying to drag myself out of bed at 3:30 in the morning to be ready for a 5am ropedrop. 😂 Mad respect for the both of you and your commitment to the goal! The reveal of the land as you come out of the warp pipe is **chef's kiss** 👌I'm pretty sure that the only "ride" at USH that permits onride video right now _is_ the Studio Tour - and btw, we were _so_ glad to see that you guys squeezed that into this day too! One of our favorite attractions of all time. Honestly, with the dependence on AR Goggles, filming onride MarioKart probably wouldn't have resulted in a particularly palatable video anyway. So glad that y'all were able to make it into the Toadstool Cafe, especially with how competitive those seats are! Haha you guys are not wrong...like Chris Pratt's Mario, I am not a mushroom lover. 😂 But I like the variety of options available at the Cafe, and I'm not about to miss out on the themed experience! Haha I'm sure I will find my way through the menu to something tasty I can enjoy. I find myself agreeing with Jay on the Disney/Universal cupcakes...almost always too sweet and with too much icing. That said, I'll still try it because it's a 10/10 on presentation. I respect y'alls decision not to purchase the bands, as they're definitely overpriced....but I have no choice, I simply cannot walk into SNW and not play the Power-up games 😁 Looking forward to seeing all of this in person someday soon! Great vlog, guys, thanks for sharing!

The only way I could see not getting the early entry currently is if you're a local. If you're an out of state visitor it's currently a must because if you don't, you'll end up spending half your day waiting for one ride and will most likely lose out on Toadstool Cafe. I feel lucky and privileged we got in and can afford it. I almost lost that shot when we were editing and found it literally right before we exported so thank you for noticing btw! What confused me about the filming was that I saw a lot of vlogs with Mario Kart footage but also, a lot of people filming on their phones. Either way, we always abide by the rules and it was nice to just enjoy the attraction our first time on. I think Toadstool's menu has something for everyone. Although I can see being surrounded by Mushroom people as a possibly scary experience for you 😆. The cupcake was good but too much. It's definitely got presentation on lock. My suggestion is just to knock off some icing. All the other flavors work well with a little less. We were so tired by the time we got to the bands. It wasn't just the price but also, spiritually, we weren't up for waiting on those lines to play. The tram tour was the perfect offering at that point. Given the included express with the early entry ticket didn't mean much since it was a walk on. Thank you! Hope you both can get here real soon 🙂. Truly is a remarkable land.

Wow! I didn't know Toads sold out in California but awesome they offer walk ups. That's what we did! We waited 30 minutes to get into Kinopio's Cafe and it's really cool to see how the menus vary in Japan and California! For our entrees we got a Chicken Teriyaki and Ginger rice that was shaped like a Mario Star and I got the pizza bowl! And for dessert we got the Bean Pole Cake! Everything was so tasty. Cool that you get to keep the bowl in California. Not sure if you could in Japan but everyone was leaving their bowls behind. I felt different about the ride. It was overwhelming and too much was going on. Next time I ride the ride, I'm planning on not wearing the glasses and just enjoy the huge set pieces. It's cool to see how everything in one level there. We didn't buy the bands neither because it was soooooo packed and you're limited in how long you stay in the land with the pass with bought. It's so stupid but I guess it makes sense to prevent over crowding. In Japan it's a free for all for entry for Universal lol. It might say it opens at 9 but if they're ready to open at 7, they'll open up. So you'll see people starting to get there super early. 😭😂 It was something, that's for sure. That's how all the parks are, including Disney. Great video! 🙌🏻

It must be so interesting to see the differences! We selfishly hope you both vlogged because we'd love to live vicariously through your visit 🙂. We enjoyed the ride, it felt like live action Mario Kart but can see it being a bit much. I agree with not wanting to wear the goggles next time. The digital aspect definitely takes away a bit from the live action sets. Our visit was packed too which definitely factored into our decision to not buy the bands. I'd be so stressed if I didn't know when the gates opened 😆. I'd probably be there 3 hours early. Hyped to see your Japan trip! Thank you!

After visiting both Nintendo Worlds in Japan and Hollywood, I feel that both parks are better in their own ways. In Japan, there is a lot more different activities to do, with more variety of different foods that are way better than Hollywood's Toadstool Cafe (Except for the Burgers, Hollywood does them better), they also have their own unique headbands which japan's headbands are better, while hollywood's shirts and hats are better. And rides like Mario Kart, compared to Hollywood, takes less time to line up for than in Hollywood. If you are lucky, you can get in to Japan's Nintendo World as early as 7:30am in the morning. However, unlike Hollywood, there are some days where you MUST book a Timed Entry Ticket (Virtual Line) in order to get to the park, and sometimes you must go to a specialized kiosk to book them. Meeting mascots (except Toad) is much stricter, due to the fact that unlike Hollywood, you are not allowed to have your phone to take pictures with mascots, you must stand in a specific position when you meet mascots, you must pose how the mascot poses for pictures, and you must pay 6000 yen for pictures. While in Hollywood, it's just you interacting with the mascot, the staff are allowed to use your phone for picture taking, and you are allowed to greet the mascots with how you like to greet them (plushies). When I met Peach in Japan, the line takes longer compared to Hollywood (30 minutes in Japan). And she would just interact with the staff member every time and only interact with me based on what the staff tells her to do for the first 30 seconds of the meet and greet to fill in that time. When I even tried to greet her with my plushies, she just ignores them. When I met Peach in Hollywood the line is way shorter (2-15 minutes), and she is even willing to get to know more of my different plushies, and with Toadette being her favourite, she would always be happy to hold her and hug her for the picture-taking. The meet and greet is straight to the point and no nonsense.
