@@markportillo3892 MANY people disrespect waffle house COOKS employees etc not knowing they get paid MORE than working at a regular restaurant and 25 years ago I was going to have my own waffle house store making almost 150,000 a year but I couldn't do it because I had a brand new baby and if anyone calls out management must go WORK regardless nights days weekends holidays and I couldn't do that with a new baby they get paid better than Walmart employees unless YOU'RE the Boss at Walmart I've been in the restaurant industry all of my life and Waffle house pays very good even some of the cooks makes 28 30 dollars an hour ALL restaurants needs to jump on the bandwagon

Years ago I worked with a guy in a restaurant who could work like that. Know what management did? They took advantage of him and purposely scheduled him alone in the kitchen ALL THE TIME. Even though he could do it, he was always stressed. He just ended up walking out one day.

I been there! 3rd shift at Waffle House on a Friday night and one cook! "Well they'll be ok. Karen is working and will jump on the grill if needed." For $5.25 an hour and having to help him I would lose out on tips.

I saw a similar video with a cook at IHOP doing the same thing. However, he had NO GLOVES on and touched every piece of food with his bare hands😳😡🤭😬🤢🤣

dude watch the first 30 seconds of the video lol. He touched all that raw bacon, never changed his gloves, and contaminated everything in the kitchen starting with the cooler door handle. He changed them way later dude lol. You obviously have no food safety knowledge

I also noticed the massive cross contamination in the first few seconds. He changed gloves, handled more bacon with no glove change. Then grabbed the dishes to serve food off of with contaminated gloves.

If the burger wrapper was sticking, we'd lick our two fingers to get a better grip of it before making the burgers. I witnessed one woman who cancelled her order because the burger maker kept licking his fingers to get the wrapper down before grabbing said burger to make it. good times.

I was in a waffle house in Greer SC on a busy Sunday morning and there was a trainer there and he was doing it fast and furious just like this guy was doing it I asked him after the rush was over some questions he travels to different location doing training he makes big bucks but you got to like to travel! He did say there's a trick to remembering order by setting up the plate lay a slice of cheese on orders that want cheesy scrambled eggs a bowl for grits jelly packs for toast orders etc but mainly having a mental picture of the menu! It's awesome how they do that!

These workers sometimes go underpaid and devalued for their services to the industry. I don't know how much the cooks at waffle house make but I am always impressed. The servers constantly spitting off orders non stop, the cook not writing anything down, just handling all the orders one after another. I mean wow, absolutely impressive!

It becomes repetition, he’s obviously been there awhile and there’s so many variations you can do. The thing that fuck line cooks up the most is when you do sub orders which are annoying because you have to focus on specifics and that could mess up your flow. Yet if you get regular orders and no subs you can whip shit out like nothing depending on what you cooking. I don’t miss being a line cook, it’s stressful.. especially if you work at a popular restaurant and it’s very busy.

This guy reminds me of a cook that I worked with years ago.He now has two restaurants that he owns now.Someone saw him cooking and putting the food on all of the plates,and they slipped him a note and asked could or would he mind working for them as a sous chef.He had previous culinary experience from a culinary school.Kudos to this cook for doing a fantastic and awesome job. This guy needs to be cooking in a five star restaurant.

I made it one year as a WH cook... Worked 1st shift including weekends. Pretty intense. Then they switched me to working 2 nights, no ifs ands or buts. Needless to say after a few nights I quit, lmao. I'd rather be super busy on 1st shift, than deal with drunk ego chasers on 3rd, lol.

Only Waffle House workers is that determined are the ones in Atlanta. Dude never got mad or asked any questions. N he actually enjoyed it. I believe it was a doable challenge for him. CuHz looked real excited bout it‼️
