I love how these commercials don’t feel the need to lie or smear the screen with cgi like American toy commercials They just show the toy and what it can do and what else they can combine with It’s really cool and it really simple

Thank you for making this compilation! It's truly amazing to think of all the work that must have gone into filming and editing these commercials. They fill in all the lights and sounds that I'd be making as a kid, you just gotta believe there was more than just marketing her, but real love for awesome, transforming robots!

Yea dude. I love how Japan takes their entertainment franchises with such pride. The entire commercial is done from the perspective of a child's imagination...that's why its all stop motion and you don't see any hands holding the toys
These look really cool. I could imagine kids going crazy upon seeing these commercials back in the day. The only thing that bugged me is that there are no individual commercials for zyurangers' Dragon Caesar and King Brachio.

Japan had the coolest toys of its time. I was fortunate enough to see Japanese toy commercials back in 1984, when my dad would rent me vhs tapes of Japanese kids shows (literally recorded from TV in Japan and made available to rent). My most profound memories are from the Flashman super sentai episodes and Gegege No Kitaro and some Kinikuman as well. This was well before anyone in my neighborhood, knew what they were. So I sorta felt special and privileged to see them...lol. I was lucky enough to obtain a Flashking deluxe toy for my birthday, back then...but boy did it upset my dad to have to spend slightly over 100.00 dollars for it (imports!). Of course, as a little kid, I had no idea what 100.00 dollars was. I just wanted the damn thing. Anyways, thanks for sharing this compilation, MegaFan. Very cool of you to do so. :)

It's fine that you like Sentai in all but I don't like being forced to only watch Sentai all the time, besides I grew up with Ninja Storm (Hurricanger), Dino Thunder (Abaranger), S.P.D (Dekaranger) because of the battlizer armor they have.
I had the frog part of the deluxe daishogun as a kid. Feels neat seeing it again in the OG commercial.

These ads from japan is like “we want you to enjoy the toys!” The ads from America: “we want your money!” The way how Japan does it is perfect, no kids playing, no hands on the toy but the figure itself moves in stop motion video is how it should be in America. Focus on product not the kid. We don’t need a little kid to tell us it’s for kids, it’s common sense.
