Here's a quick recap to copy and save! (But still watch the video for details!) 1. Compliment people on what they achieved, instead of what they were born with! 2. Get people to share with you what they love, and you'll forge a deeper connection. 3. Be totally honest with people about what's in their best interest (not yours). Even if it means losing their business, you'll win their respect. 4. Use open body language. For example: hands out and relaxed, but respectful. 5. Exceed expectations without asking! Surprise people by being extra thoughtful. 6. Be the first person to joke or put people at ease! This makes people respect you even more for helping them relax and enjoy themselves.

9:23 I used to have a classmate who's father had terminal cancer. We became friends during that time, in part because he said I was one of the only people able to make him laugh due to his saddening home situation. When I was talking to him at his dad's funeral, I could see that the loss was crushing him, but I managed to make him smile a couple of times. He hasn't been in my class for 3 years now, but we still hang out once in a while because we grew so close during what was such a hard time for him.So although I agree that it is generally not a great idea to be cracking jokes at a funeral, if done correctly it can be an incredibly powerful way of lifting the spirits of those affected.

Elijah Cedeno Be quick and and respond to the joke in a kind manner, it doesn’t have to be a laugh. Someone makes a joke(let’s say) about the professor’s tie or school in general. Just joke back, like “yeah he’s not lookin too hot today” or “yeah this course is boring as hell” Then follow these responses up with a question, like “what are you majoring in anyway?” So it rebounds back and becomes a genuine conversation. An awkward silence or fake response is what kills someone’s confidence and the conversation itself.

I love this channel, but I've always been thinking...that a lot of these videos are for *self*-improvement in order to appear more socially acceptable for *other people*. So it gets me thinking, are we just defined by society? It's something that has always been on my mind, and something I've accepted since I was a kid...but it makes you wonder why other people's opinions matter so much. Also... ...the quality of this channel has always been great in the beginning, but now it's almost as if you are trying to tell people to be someone they're not (kind of like those guys who make videos on how to pick up women) in order to gain tacit approval from others. I just hope that you guys in Charisma on Command be sure to stay in touch with the roots of your philosophy.

Great tips! I especially agree with the ‘joke first’ tip.. every time I do that, I see people instantly relax and warm up to me. Another thing I’ve found that helps is, mention something in conversation that you remember from the last time you spoke to them. Most people don’t remember details about other people, so when you show that you do remember details about the person, it really blows their mind that you care. 😊

On closed body language part of this video. The sings you have described are self soothing sings and are typical in nature when someone gets nervous and not a display of closeness or openness. This is old school which was debunked a while ago. Easiest way of getting through with them is to grind the experience so you don't feel nervous, but accustomed to situation you are in. Also improve self confidence by other means. This will channel into your overall confidence. The more you think about the signs themselves the more nervous you are going to be. Just understand you are nervous and you are right to be nervous because the experience is new. It will go away naturally

Someone is in the progress of losing weight, goal is not yet achieved, compliment them now, to show it is worth progressing 2] Get people to talk about what they love: Get people to share what they love, they will associate you with that amazing feeling. Avengers endgame comic book is a topic Charlie loves. You engage in active listening. 3] Share a truth that is to your detriment. Person asks Charlie should I buy my course now if I still have to pay for other things? Charlie says no. That honesty will pay off. 4] Open Body Language. He immediately said "Damn, you must be pretty smart". I was a short sentence and it didn't go deep, but it was really powerful to me. My has been all about getting to college for the last year and a half, and getting this short recognition from a stranger felt incredible. I think this is going to be one of those snapshot memories you just can't forget now.

Please talk about David Goggins on why he is effecting and changing so many people. Do an interview with him and ask him the questions no one else is asking. I like your channel but Goggins ripped me apart and made me face my flaws.

1 Compliment people about what they have worked for, earned. That you apreciate that. 2 get people to talk about what they love 3 share a truth that is to your determinent, being honest also if it is not in your interest. 4 open body language 5 exceed expectation without asking permission, do more as being asked, extra mile. Know someones likes and dislikes. 6 be the first person to joke for human interaction and brighten someones day.

point 1. you got to know your coworkers well enough to compliment them on something that you KNOW they are working on. I don't know my co workers well enough. they seem to be friendly with others ...not with me. one even looked at me like I was crazy the other Day

I thought the doing a favor without asking is smart. Because usually if you ask someone if they would like something they will either deny the request or give you there money, but if you do the favor without being asked they will be obligated in a good way to take it.

I learned a lot from this video. You should upload a video about Joe Rogan's ability to come up with interesting topics for a conversation with his podcast guests. I want to hear how you analyze Joe Rogan's techniques for conversing with different people even when many of them disagree with some of his own opinions. Would you consider uploading that video in the future?

I've been watching your videos for several days now and I am really impressed. You are a really good looking guy but that's really not what makes you so hot... it's your sincerity, your emotional intelligence, your ultra advanced social skills, and your realness that makes you so attractive. You are the perfect spokesperson for the Charisma course you are offering. But how did YOU become this way?

Actually… do NOT mention someone’s weight. Just tell them they are looking more vibrant and healthy lately, that their skin is glowing… anything else. After I lost all the weigh from carrying my babies, that’s all people ever wanted to talk about with me was how much weight I lost. It made me extremely self conscious. Like… was I really such a heifer before??? I didn’t think so. But apparently I’ve gone through such a transformation. I’ve had friends who have gone through the same thing, they lose a lot of weight and get healthy and now everywhere they go it’s, “Oh my! Look how much weight you’ve lost!” I’m glad I know better. If I say anything, it usually has something to do with congratulating and encouraging their effort on making healthy choices and asking “what’s your secret to looking so amazing?”

Long time fan of the channel (thank you for taking the time to often respond to me) - I am working on a video for my own channel and at one point I mention diffusing tension in a work situation with a bit of humor and playfulness. I want to refer them to your channel to learn more and I'm looking for the perfect episode to refer them to, which one do you think would be best? Also I think people would really like a whole video on that topic. LOVE yall's content, such high quality, thanks!

1. Make your comments on people original and about things that those people have worked for. 2. Talk about things that the person who you talking to loves. 3. Don't put your hands in your pockets, behind your back, don't cross them, eat.. 4. Exceed expectations proactively. 5. Ask if you can do them a favor, without them asking. 6. make a joke early in the convo. (I know its not exactly what he said, but its what I took from this video)

johnny 382i2i2 tips for revising the night before are simple. Whatever you do, don't cram! You're gonna overload, you'll feel stress, it just won't work. Secondly, take Charlie's advice on interviews. At least an hour before you have your exam, don't rush and revise. Give yourself some space, and take your mind off it.
