I've had 10 garage Queens in the last 45 years, and that fear of bugs, birds and rock chips always sucked the fun out of driving them. Hats off to this guy for doing something I wished I had done decades ago!!! Although, I doubt I would have been able to build a beast like he has. Well done, Sir!!!

cars are made to be driven. absolute shame seeing garage queens. then by the time the owners realise that they should've spent more time enjoying their cars, their bodies can't keep up anymore...then the kids or wife sells them off for how much they were told it was bought for because they don't have the time nor interest to keep them running.

Been following this build ever since Kurt urban built it. At that time, this was cutting edge and WAAAAY ahead of its time. I mean, just the fuel system alone looks like something nasa had to engineer. Nowadays, it’s hard to say you have a hot rod if your street car doesn’t make 2500 horsepower at 11 psi of boost. But I’ll maintain to this day that this is the car that started that trend.

Nice. I had (Should have kept?) a 70 Nova SS 396. It was actually a 402, but Chevy kept the familiar 396 badging. All stock, solid lifters 375 hp 396, 4 speed. Bucket seats, fake vents on hood and front fenders, in front of doors. In dash linear tach. Rumbling monster. That thing would really snap your neck back at a stoplight. Fun car . I pretty much rebuilt it all in the garage. Good project result. With the headers, that thing had a hefty, chunky rumble at idle.
