Goodness. I have an insta-pot and steam them in there for about 6 minutes. Then I eat them! Diced with some spices on them mostly. I have discovered the spice section of "rubs" that are intended for use on meat, but they add great flavor to potatoes. Sometimes I use bbq sauce or oil-free tomato sauce, but I use sauces sparingly. The closer to plain 'ol spuds you can get, the better!

Thank you Judy for sharing. You're a good chick and condescending petite know-it-alls have no business helping those of us caught in the pleasure trap. When we slip up it's not because we are losers, we slipped up and are not bad people or failures for doing so. We are caught in a trap built in part by commercial interests. Is Medifast same as Optifast? Supposed to get one into a state of ketosis after four days or so. Sometimes the mono diet freakout seems misplaced as the bottled/packaged section of most supermarkets seems a nutritional wasteland. A region dominated by food-like substances awash in corn syrup and/or palm oil and other grease. This seems "mono".
@SpudFit

@judybarnett782

Yeah, it was supposed to put us into ketosis and keep us there. It was all soy-based protein shakes and bars. One meal a day of greens was ok, but never any fruit and certainly no potatoes! The list of chemical additives on the boxes is frighteningly long. It is now revamped as something called Optavia, and before that, it was renamed as "Take Shape For Life." But it's the same stuff.
