I know on the Ludicrous controller amp values are doubled so for 50A you would actually set it at 25A. Not sure if the Sabv is the same. If it is and you have the 150A controller, your amps should be set no higher than 75A.

Sabvotons are super popular in the DIY community because you can get huge takeoff acceleration but the new ones (2014+) have a high failure rate because they are clones after the original company went out of business. Kelly controllers are slightly better in reliability but have less initial acceleration. And then there’s ASI and Nucular which are both awesome but expensive!

There are original Sabvotons and fake copies. Original Sabvotons and V.2's are rock solid only the clones are crap. Clones are easy to spot as they have plastic endcaps. Real Sab's are externally all metal.

Make some vents for your controller so it stays cool especially during the summer. Stay super 72 👍

Controller smell is more common. Sabotons can be cooked pretty easily. The more transistors the better, to save space sabatons use less of them.

I'm learning so much. Still on the fence about the this upgrade but now I think I'm going to do it! Im Still confused about how you run both batteries and the stock controller as well?
@MrCentralDriver
2 жыл бұрын
The stock controller in the stock battery are still hooked up to each other. The only thing that got disconnected was the rear motor so all the lights still work off the Stock system like it normally would. the new motor and controller both run office separate battery, so there’s two systems on the bike

The majority of LCDs only have the ability to display 3 digits. It seems that there should be either a 1 or a 2 that goes before whatever wattage it shows. i.e. the wattage may be 1700 but only showing 700.

I was wondering which part of the parameters in the MQCON app do you have to change to lessen the acceleration? I have a 3000w 72v 20ah on my zx and on the slightest flick of the wrist it feels like it wants to pop a wheelie

yeah adding flux removes torque i was told as well. bikes so fast i notice nothing different. but flux is what will allow more motor rpm which does cause heat so just be careful. always check the motor
