Thanks so much for all your super 8 videos. I have an 09 that has sat untouched for 3 years and I'm in the process of getting it running again. All your videos are exactly what I needed. Your videos are saving me so much money.

So happy it has helped you out. Hope you get it running so that in the spring you can get out and enjoy the ride. Thanks for watching and if this helps, click an advertiser link on my page to help me to keep producing videos.

TitaniumWayne because of all your videos she is already purring like a kitten. I'm not waiting for spring. I ride all year round. This is my winter bike now. The thing is a blast to ski around in the snow.

No need to remove the carb in many cases. ALWAYS try running some STP gas treatment or Gumout fuel injector cleaner first via a few tablespoons in the gas tank. Simple, and in many cases will clear up minor varnish buildup in the carb. Once you add some cleaner to the fuel tank, slosh it around, crack open the carb drain to get treated fuel all the way down to the float bowl, close drain, let it set for a few hours or overnight. Start it up and drive it until the tank is almost empty. If that doesn't do anything, THEN, you can go about fussing with carb removal. Check the condition of your fuel filter first though. Not sure if there is a small vent hole on the fuel cap, but if there is, and it is plugged, you will have running issues.

Hey I commented at the end of this great series of videos that we didn't get to witness the restart. Did you have to perform any sort of priming to fill the bowl or just turning it over and it started. I got mad at the bike and its been sitting for a year and that is why I'm glad you made these videos because I totally forgot and was dreading going back in once again. I agree with the others. THANKS !!!

You will have to really crank it for a while as the carb bowl will need to fill with has before it will start. Hold throttle at full for a while when trying to start so that it puts in extra gas to fill the carb bowl.
