Ursa is a FUCKING BADASS!! One of my favorite movie scenes ever from childhood. "Let me know if this tickles......"

The guy who "holds hands" with Ursa is Bill Bailey, a biker from North Carolina who, like many actors in the series, emigrated to the UK in the 1970s. The guy Zod throws out of the diner is Dinny Powell, an experienced stuntman who had been doing work since the early James Bond films. Hal Galili, the guy in the Coors T-shirt and suspenders, was an American actor who had lived and worked in the UK since the early '60s.

He does it several times in the film - Usually when one of his crew does something to annoy him.. I get the impression that even if they weren't defeated by Superman, they would've ultimately fought each other.

It's a speeded-up version of Average White Band's "Pick Up the Pieces," a #1 hit from 1975. The same arrangement by Ken Thorne is used in the Alaska diner scene.
