This video is so useful and more with probably the most rude emulator that I had played and things like play the network mode for one player took me so many days to figure out how to do that and doing it almost by my own, I think the main objective of the emulator currently is being more comfortable and easy for the casual player and enjoy by a better way out favorites arcade game at home and play them how we want. Good video, I still hope this effort gets more views because actually it needs it thanks to take your time

Finally got the network link set up with 3players on 1 PC for Daytona 2, just gotta figure it out for Scud Race as well. One problem though, is there a way to use separate Xbox One/ series S/X controllers each for the Master, Slave1, and Slave2 instances running at the same time? If I only have the config xinput batch file in the master folder I can only control the Master (Elite Xbox controller) and if I copy the config xinput batch over to Slave 1 or 2 then either no input is registered on my other controller (Xbox Series S) or the controller plays on all 3 games at the same time. I'm trying to figure this out so I can play 2 or 3 players with separate wired/Bluetooth Xbox remotes simultaneously since none of my friends have steering wheels lol

You need to setup each controller individually for each version of the emulator. Plug all 3 in to the PC and it'll know to treat one as Joypad 1, Joypad 2 and 3. Then go into the folder for your master emulator, use the config Xinput batch and setup Joy 1. Then go into player 2 folder and do the same for joy 2 and then player 3 and joy 3. If you simply copy the config ini across to the other folders, you're just duplicating the info for that pad, which is why you get all 3 players being controlled by joy 1.

thanks for the info, have you had any luck with linking 2 pcs directly with crossover network cable? ive tried creating the loop as you described here, but cant get it to work...was able to configure cross over cable with model 2 emulator and teknoparrot but not this, any info would be appreciated

I've never tried using a crossover cable, I've only ever setup a multi-PC network over WiFi (since I made this video I upgraded my Barcade PC with an old GPU I had, which gave it enough power to run Supermodel and I was able to get an actual 2 PC network running with it, as well as MAME and Model 2). That's odd you can get Model 2 and TP working but not Supermodel. The obvious things I'd suggest are checking your firewall isn't blocking the connection and double check you've got all the IP config and loop network info inputted correctly.

@@brno95 I don't own a Logitech g29, but I can't see why you couldn't plug 2 wheels in. Shouldn't be any different from plugging multiple joypads presumably (unless the Logitech software doesn't like multiple wheels...?).

@@MrThunderwinglogitech wheels use multiple usb ports and power outlets, so that is quite hard to do
