Friends, I decided to turn part 1 and 2 into 1 video. Jump to the 2 minute mark if you have already watched part 1.
When I first bought a jointer I did not have ample power to my shop so I had to purchase a benchtop model to get me by. I still use this jointer as it gets me by most of the time especially since I have hand tools that can do the job better anyways, at least in capable hands that is… I have another video going over the likes and dislikes of this jointer and I will leave a link down below. One of the dislikes is short infeed and outfeed tables which limits jointing and planing to about 4’. I brain stormed a few minutes and came up with a plan that costed me nothing but time as I had everything on hand already! I knew those bolts from that swing set i salvaged would come in handy one day! I hope you enjoy watching the process of this modification! Thanks for watching! Please subscribe if you haven’t already! I really appreciate it and it gives me motivation to make more videos. Let me know what I should do differently down in the comments. Take care and God Bless you!
