The Second World War gave rise to a whole generation of tank destroyers. Combining heavier firepower in a more economically affordable package, tank destroyers were produced and used by all warring nations. As a result of it’s war situation, Germany became practically the most prolific user of tank destroyers, as it sought to counter the ever-growing armored columns of the allied powers. One such tank destroyer was the Jagdpanther.
