Not a cover, rather Cupid’s Chokehold sampled this song (took a portion of it and reused it in a unique way). It would have been a cover if it had just been them singing the same song, but they mainly just reuse a section of the song. Hope this doesn’t sound uptight or anything, just wanted to share the difference 😅
@jeffrowisdabest

@@nandi9902 Fair enough. Although I'd counter that by saying it was more of a remake than a sample, since they kept some of the lyrics. As opposed to Madonna's "Hung Up" which contained a sample of ABBA's "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)".

Supertramp is one of those bands the you never hear about, you sometimes hear it on the radio but you usually don't think much of it. But once you listen to songs like this, you'll understand how truly amazing these songs have. "Breakfast In America" Take a look at my girlfriend She's the only one I got Not much of a girlfriend I never seem to get a lot Take a jumbo across the water Like to see America See the girls in California I'm hoping it's going to come true But there's not a lot I can do Could we have kippers for breakfast Mummy dear, Mummy dear? They gotta have 'em in Texas 'Cause everyone's a millionaire I'm a winner, I'm a sinner Do you want my autograph? I'm a loser, what a joker I'm playing my jokes upon you While there's nothing better to do, hey Don't you look at my girlfriend (Girlfriend) She's the only one I got Not much of a girlfriend (Girlfriend) I never seem to get a lot (What she's got? Not a lot) Take a jumbo across the water Like to see America See the girls in California I'm hoping it's going to come true But there's not a lot I can do, hey Ba da da dum Ba da da dum Ba da da da dum

Absolutely A Masterpiece, a conglomeration of the finest musical instruments, pieced together an orgasmic hearing experience, topped with delicious vocals harmonizing like the sounds of heaven, soft enough for the tenderhearted but heavy enough for the hard rockers! Such emotional power touches deep into the listeners soul, nobody tops this band!

The intro somewhat sounds like Don’t Speak by No Doubt.
