He was in his 70’s at the time. He drove a beat up faded and a bit rusty blue early 1970’s Suburban. He used to put his drum kit in the back of course. Problem was that during the drive to the gig his drum kit slid forward. But nothing stopped Pee Wee. He had a 6 foot garden rake that he would use to pull his drums back so he could grab them. Thanks guys. First video I’ve seen of the new Suburban. I will probably be replacing my 2018 with this model now that they have brought back the column shifter. I’ve rented recent Suburbans and Tahoes on vacation but I could not stand the button shifter. I just replaced my old 2500HD with a 2024 2500HD high country which has almost the identical interior. I do love this interior (with the column shifter).

NWF would I have a 4WD vehicle with 24' tires and wheels. Looks like a hooptie mobile. Might as well go with the Michelin’s UPTIS if you want something useless. The computer screen dash and controls are trouble waiting to happen. I've seen people install the large screen in RAM trucks and if memory serves me, it's around $2200. Can't imagine with GM will demand for a replacement once out of warranty. I've owned 4 Suburbans, three gas and one diesel. I kept waiting for the hydrogen powered version, but I guess Allison gave up on the power train. My last Suburban was a 2006 3/4 ton with the 6.2. Nice vehicle, but it didn't hold up like the older vehicles did.

The hideous fish gills are absolutely killing the front end of ALL the GM trucks/suv’s…. I’m a diehard fan of the GM brand but I work hard for my money and if I’m spending $100K for a vehicle I’m gonna be 100% satisfied and this thing does not make the mark…. Sorry GM but it’s time for a front end refresh without the gills….
