You know what irritates me with ppl that make comments like this, its that they dont understand, and/or believe that we (black folks) are excusing floyd's behavior. When ppl makes assumptions like this, our racist senses go up because your assumption was automatically negative and came from ill intent. To be clear, no one is excusing floyd's actions. We are upset that a man that was handcuffed and on his stomach, died because an officer CHOSE to put a knee on his neck while he was yelling he couldnt breathe. Idk what this world has come to for ppl not to have the human decency and compassion to understand this.

@John Wange making a mistake shouldn’t result in your death. was it wrong for him to use the fake money, yes. but for his life to be take for is clearly wrong. so the actions have consequences thing is bullshit in this situation. there’s moments in your life when you made a mistake. you think you should be killed for that mistake?

Interesting information about Mr. Chovin and his x wife. Both have not paid income tax in a few years, along with the fact that they purchased a home in Florida, while him working in Minn. He voted in FLA, but he took the Homestead tax break in Minn. His wife divorced him the day after the incident. She was an immigrant, and an x beauty queen. Both not good people.

Don't even matter if he had counterfit bull. The penalty is not death. None of that matters. What matters is deadly force was used for a non-viooent misdemeanor. This can't be the way this country deals with petty crime. This can't be the way this country treats black men.

Police need to have more restraint and common sense than these did, but people need to also co-operate with the police, then they're very unlikely to run into trouble. We also need to stop telling black people the police are their enemy.

@@puffoffluffedair543 Not going to disagree with that. If our society actually cared about the drug abuse problems facing our various communities, this whole incident would not have happened. Certain protected classes are ignored when they have addiction issues because harmful drugs are a cash cow for government agencies, they work both sides of the problem to get funding, so they will NEVER actually work to fix the issue. These drugs and the lack of seriousness about the problem are killing our minority communities. Nobody seems to care about this side of the problem.

If the police were called they had to make the call. Unfortunately if you simplify or generalize one arrives at your summation that George Floyd died over a 20.00 bill. The main point was did Chauvin act within the guidelines of Minneapolis Police Dept. guide lines or did the officer act overly violently. TRUTH Mr. Floyd should have been placed in the police cruiser end of story and this could have been avoided . The claim of claustrophobia was nonsense as he was just sitting in another vehicle.
