Yup, you're right Mick about the smart bms; seeing the health of each cells is very important.

I'm sad this didn`t last 4 hours more... I suppose it''s not doable for guys like you with social and family life (kidding) You three make a perfect match for videopodcast (or whatever you want to call this format) Keep streaming please. I really enjoy this!

There is a difference in over powering the motor and over demanding on the battery. Drawing too much on the battery being the most dodgy, if you do that the voltage will sag and the motor will have to draw even more current to produce the same power.

126V 134V same thing really, the S20 is only slower than the Master because Kingsong has chosen it to be, it will have the head room.

When 8-Bit processors were all the rage (showing my age). I was told once that nobody needs a 16-bit computer, well not unless your are doing the Company accounts. Where are we now 64-bit?

W = V X I, so the voltage doesn't really matter in respect to the absolute power available. How ever high voltage can draw more current, deliver more power, which will go through your battery faster. ie higher acceleration (more torque), greater top speed, but this needs more power. Bigger demand/draw on those batteries. Higher voltage needs higher voltage FET's, higher voltage FET's get hotter than low voltage ones for the same current (will need better cooling), they are more susceptible to shock loads/ spikes as well. FET's are really reliable as long as you use them within their specs, abuse them and they fail rather quickly. Higher voltage is intrinsically more dangerous because you really don't want to put your hand across 134V.

One of the things to consider these days is availability, it might be the dogs bollocks, but if you cant get one!

Gotway/Begode care about $ not safety. They know speed & power sells. As long as they keep making the fastest wheels they know they will sell & they don’t have to improve safety.

EV's cars are not efficient, counting the electric generation and transmission an EV is 50% as efficient as a petrol engine. They aren't environmentally friendly if you consider construction longevity and disposal. EV are not cost effective without subsidy, longevity of batteries, range, safety is all not good enough, there is not enough lithium, rare earth minerals available to replace the internal combustion engine, the economy would go bust trying.
