Fate, serendipity, sympatico, call it what you want. She was available, the film was iconic, and she was at the right place at the right time, and the film will live on forever as the car-culture classic it is. Watch it again, and enjoy it again. I will.

Great story. Not too many in the cast back then where known quantities. Definitely a case of hind site been 20/20. Ether that or one has to belief that George just had a great eye and ear for future great talent.

We all know she was in the car, but my question has always been was she also the voice talking to Curt on the payphone after Wolfman's dedication??

I just watched the scene where she talks on the phone. I seriously do not think it was Suzanne. It does not sound like her at all! There is no reason it would have to be her voice either.

Interesting interview. Maybe she got the part because she looked about right and she was cheap.

I agree with her, I thought it was stupid movie too, and I didn't understand it. But then again, people will watch anything...
