This is a procedure of illustrating a cylinder leak down teak on a 2006 Suzuki Forenza to determine valve damage from a timing belt breakage. This procedure can be applied to any vehicle. I forgot to mention it in this video, but you can also check for piston ring leakage by pulling the dipstick and listening for air leakage out of the dipstick tube. And if you look in the radiator and see bubbles, you've got a blown head gasket.
I should mention that with the cylinder leak-down tester that I'm using, I wanted to show the percentage of air that was being lost. It is not necessary to buy this equipment as you can just install a hose from the compressor and just listen to where the air goes. Thanks for watching and leave your comments!
