Nice! I'm glad you took the wrong road and got lost here and there, it makes for a more interesting video instead of the usual generic videos where everyone goes to the same places. Enjoyed it thankyou.

Wow enjoyed your journey. Some scary moments , but your lion sighting and filming thereof must rank as some of your best filming. You were very brave near the elephants at night . Thank you for sharing your amazing adventure👍🐾🐾🐾

A truly magical video, many thanks for posting. I have a three week self drive camping safari in Namibia for October 2022. Hopefully Botswana in August 2023. Tracks4Africa maps are invaluable. Hello from Ireland 🇮🇪

Thank you so much! Namibia is incredible! We were there in 2019 in an Amarok but we are desperate to go back with the Jimny :) Have the best time!!

Woow! This was a proper proper adventure. Good job guys
Another awesome episode. Being scared to have dinner with those lions around really drives home the wildness and immersion in nature. Hoping to do a similar trip one day.

Thanks for sharing this guys, I’m looking at doing something similar in 2023/2024 between nam, bots, zim, zam, mal and moz in a jimny. I am looking at at few other vehicle options but keen on jimny. How often were you in full 4x4 in the jimny?

You will have the best time! Sounds like the trip of a life time. You should put a Jimny into 4H pretty much as soon as you hit the dirt (stability). and for the most part we didn't need to go to 4L. Its was very fuel efficient and able to do everything the other bigger vehicles could do. Its lighter, so it means the car would sit on top of the soft sand a lot, rather than sink in like most other vehicles. We would advise the bare minimum of a 50mm lift kit on the Jimny though, and tyres with a stronger tyre wall.
