Idiyappam
Ingredients
1. Rice flour - 1 cup
2. Boiling water - 1 ½ cup (approx.)
3. Salt - to taste
4. Ghee - 1 tsp
5. Grated coconut - ½ to 1 cup (opt)
Preparation
1. To the roasted rice flour add the salt & ghee, mix well.
2. Pour 1 cup boiling water stirring & mixing well with a ladle. Set aside closed for 3 to 4 minutes.
3. Mix well again adding just the sufficient amount of boiling water in small amounts & make the dough.
4. Force down through a spring hopper presser, adding coconut above & below. Steam till done.
