I completely swamped my 04 grizz. In front of 20 Canadians on a bike trip no less. We got it on dry land, stood it on its ass for 40 min or so. Let it drain. And it started. Added some oil. And continued on the next ten miles of the trip. I looked like a fool when I drowned it, but everyone was surprised when it kept going and didn't need a tow out. I changed the oil and filter when I got home, and that's it. A well maintained yamaha is a clutch machine. Bar none.

haha oh shit. Been in a similar situation on my Grizz (except It was upside down running in a crick). Some Isopropyl (DryGas), Fresh Fuel, A SparkPlug and some patience and she'll be just fine.

Too all the idiots bashing him. Its his money he can run it how he wants. Now, with that said, raise your snokel height bro. Just needs like another 4 inch raise and I took some dense Styrofoam and had some installed around where it could be to help the front float. So when I jump off of my renny the front comes up almost automatically to help prevent swamping =D

+FishEyeGuy Outdoors ATV last time I checked is called "ALL" Terrain Vehicles ... So I would imagine the need to test it on all terrains in the pursuit of fun and happiness would be the reasoning behind it. I mean who wants to have an all terrain vehicle they can only take on one or two types of terrain.....Yea it can tear them up but it is fun too.... Plus how would you ever know the limit of your ATV if you dont test it?
@fisheyeguy
8 жыл бұрын
+Bigg Hoss Last time I checked, 5 feet of water isn't really considered "terrain". It's considered a pond. Where boats belong.
@empathicdreamz6090
8 жыл бұрын
+FishEyeGuy Outdoors You know that deep of water is probably not the best of ideas to go through but is one of many terrain types none the less.... ponds, lakes, rivers, creeks, canyons, mud, dirt, rocks, mountainous etc.. are all qualities or types of landform which is all part of any given terrain
@fisheyeguy
8 жыл бұрын
+Bigg Hoss I get the principle of the meaning of terrain, and I see you get my point as well. When your ATV starts floating, you have left terraferma, and have now entered the marine world. A place for boats.
