One of the crispest renditions I've ever seen. I always get a bit nervous when they come to the pas de chat part, because even with the best dancers it can turn out looking like an eight-legged horse galloping across stage. But these ladies made it graceful and precise from beginning to end. Well done, Sweden. Even better than the Royal Ballet with this.

I was seventeen when Tchaikovsky released Swan Lake. It was fresh and new. I was pretty fresh and new then, myself. Now I'm old and slow, but I still get a charge from this ballet and especially the Cygnets' Dance. This stuff, unlike people, just never gets old.

reminded me back in the days, when i use to have ballet lessons. My classmates and I were only like 7-8 years old. It was hard to keep the coordination together, the first time we tried it we all toppled over and fell on the ground. Afterwards we felt like we were doing the wave b/c some of the girls jumped too high, but it was the best part and fun part to learn though or swan lake.

my mum used to do this, and she daid that it was nakering, that you had the whole weight of everyone else on you and that you have no way to steady yourself because you dont have your arms, if you loose balance, its only your core keeping you up, and all of the strengh has to come from your bottom half. SO WELL DONE TO THESE GIRLS!!! also, its unusual seeing such tall girls doing it, normally its the little dancers doing this bit x)

I enjoy watching "The four little swans" being preformed via various dance companies around the world. In this case, it's being preformed via the Royal Swedish Ballet. That said, while I'm not a ballet expert by far, I do believe the ballerina on the very left side, 'may' have made a 'slight' error during her performance? She didn't swing her leg in a tight circle as the others had? (0.51 marker?) But nonetheless, the overall performance is absolutely beautiful to be hold. I thank both The royal Swedish Ballet, and the kind person who graciously took their time to post a video clip of ballet at its finest. ♥
@Katnea3

+Katnea B. Whoa! I just now realized that the Royal Swedish Ballet had incorporated a more difficult step within the 'four little swans' dance that most other professional ballet performers failed to include! Therefore, n/m about my 'slight' error comment. Indeed, I have even more respect and awe for The Royal Swedish Ballet dancers now. ♥

Just look at various KZitem videos of this dance. (Aka four little swans.) You will see that the Swedish ballet dancers put in an extra tight lil circle step within the dance. The dancers looks as if they almost tap their calf before extending their leg out. In the other videos I've seen, the ballet dancers do not try to tap their calf. It's hard to explain. = /

amazing how much they are in sync! i believe it is more difficult to do this than a solo part >.< but what do i know? i'm nowhere near a pro. anyway, i just noticed, from 0:48 until 0:55 is the girl on the left forgetting about the petit battement (if that's the right term)? or am i just seeing that?
