I like when they propolise the brood chamber to the entrance . Some of my hives are a bit sticky at the moment. Easier to deal with in hot weather than cold. I don't trap any but i think people use it in beauty products...

Lots of eggs on frames 1 and 2. The plastic foundation, with double wax works as well as wired wax. At least in my highly scientific experiment of 6 frames side by side.

it's sure been a strange year for beekeeping this year. your bees look "happy" and active, good job, it's been a tough season

End of September for the heather up her in Scotland, up hear in Scotland another week and I'll be pulling of the supers if there capped over. Depends on the weather. My frames are like yours half capped weighing heavy.

Appreciate the comment, I’ve pulled the Honey off the lower apiary and I’ll take the Heather off next weekend. I’ve enjoyed doing it but it’s a pain to process

@@pureyorkshirehoney Yes, we uncap then spin believe it or not, that removes the unwanted spinable honey which in theory will leave the unspinable ling which has to then be pressed etc. It's a messy sticky process. But we'll worth it.
