Sway bar link and bushing replacement performed on a Nissan Maxima. (Sway bar links are also called connecting rods.) Over the years these parts wear out and it's something you can replace in your driveway or garage. Torque specs specific for this vehicle:
30-35 ft. lbs. - lower bolt connecting transverse link to sway bar link.
12-16 ft. lbs - top bolt connecting sway bar to sway bar link.
36-43 ft. lbs. - the two bolts holding the bushing clamp
