Hi marshall and sabrina. I had fun watching your video. I hope you enjoyed Prague. Honest Guide are nice guys who are doing Prague a great service. That boat across the river is driven by a friend of mine. He's called "the frog." :D And the machines were working there because they're building a new footbridge. It's going to be called "HOLKA", which means girl in English. But it's an abbreviation of the two districts HOLešovice and KArlín, which it connects.

Yes, we loved Prague and can’t wait to come back! That’s hilarious that you know “the frog,” he was really nice and it was a cool experience. Hopefully he keeps doing the boat rides across after the bridge is built because it was fun! Thank you for all the information and for watching, we really appreciate it! 😊

Look at the two of you still smiling! 😊 Copenhagen! We want to go there. I read a book about happiness and supposedly that’s the happiest city in the world! Ohhh girl those sleepy eyes… I can feeeel your exhaustion, and the cafe truly is adorable! Cheering for you two to get to a bed. So exciting to make it to your apartment even with a fake window 🪟 😂 I totally thought you were going to say the best thing about the apartment is the bed! But hey yay for being able to do laundry 🧺 Hey nice, your ride worked out great! Thank you for showing us around. Another great video!

Do you know why I watched your video? Because I thought to myself: "Ha, Americans. They will definitely take a taxi from the airport (prejudice 😃) Or maybe not🤔I want to know ." Taxis from the airport are the ultimate tourist scam. And uselessness. At the same time, public transport in Prague is very good. Then I saw you in the subway and I thought, good for them. Smart kids. And then I was sorry for you that you were going in the wrong direction. That boat across the river is part of Prague public transport. You can find it in the system under the term "přívoz".🥰
@MarshallandSabrina
2 жыл бұрын
Well I’m glad we proved you wrong😂 Yes the public transport was great and it was also a really walkable city which we enjoyed. We knew something was bound to go wrong in our travels, but luckily the subway we took in the wrong direction was only a minor inconvenience and was funny! The privoz was also really fun and a nice surprise!

In all seriousness, you cant walk around these cities like they're completely safe. I was a student at HAMU there, my school was in the Lichtenstein palace virtually under the Prague castle. I didnt bother to use the tram or subway because theres so much to see. But with that there come risks, such as the gypsies. Back then I had several run ins with them but came out ok because I wandered into areas they frequent. When I visited my father in Petřvaldík in December of 2018 I stayed in Ostrava and I wandered into an area and was held up by seven people at knifepoint. YOU CANT meander around these places, because on the surface they can appear safe, but you wander into a wrong area- which is difficult to discern because the communist era buildings largely look the same- and you risk being in a world of hurt. If youre still there, be more careful, go to Prague 1, you can get all the tourist information you could ever want around Vaclavske Naměstí, Staroměstke Naměsti, Karluv most (Charles bridge). But dont wander. Its not a good idea.

I have been to Prague many times over the past 12 years. I found it to be the safest city anywhere. I'm a night person and stay out very late and have walked all over without any issue. The only instance where I saw violence was when a drunk Brit on a stag do was causing problems at a bar and he had to be removed by force after he threw a beer. Never been to Ostrava, though, but I have been to numerous parts of Plzen late at night/early morning without issue..

There still is problem with g...let's call them roma to not be banned, but it's different than in the past when they wanted beat you and you had to run from them, now they are mostly beggars or cheaters, so just be careful and you will be fine, they will not attack you like in the past, but it's still better to avoid them, when you see g..roma, you can be like 75% sure that he/she will beg for money or something, I have some coins in pocket for these cases, it's better to have 2 wallets, one empty to show them you really don't have coins and you will be fine and when they steal you your empty wallet, you will be fine too. 😀 I noticed that these annoying "train station people" disapeared when army with rifles guarded it during terrorist attacks in Euope, but they returned later.

How do you not go somewhere and not have information about it?? Omg get a city map its not that hard and stop just meandering around. Seriously, I lived in Prague for a year.. if your upcoming vids are just wandering around and getting lost because you're completely clueless about the place you're at Im going to stop following you.
