So funny Daniel, this video made me laugh because the other day I was shopping at Wholefoods and there was all this Dutch cheese and I loooove Gouda and since I'm learning Dutch I realized English speakers have been pronouncing Gouda all wrong! haha

The purple fruits you pointed out would be called Damson plums in the US. No idea what they’d be called in other English speaking countries. They’re hard to find in stores in the US, and if people have them it’s usually because they have their own tree. Plums we find in the store are usually dark red skinned with red-orange flesh.

Hi, I am new to your channel. I love watching grocery store walk through videos from other Countries. I have to say that your prices are pretty inexpensive compared to where I live in the US. We are so overcharged here for our groceries. For example, a container of couscous like you showed, would be around $6. Your cheese is extremely cheap compared to what we pay.
@TechBearSeattle

Very roughly, you can move the decimal point one position to the left to switch from kronor to US dollars (at the moment, 1 US = 10.4 kr.) Honestly, your prices are pretty much what I am used to seeing. 35.90 kr = $3.59 which is a decent price for a loaf of good bread. 99.99 kr is about $10, which is a really good price for a pound of cheese (or was that a kilo, around 2.2 pounds?) We easily spend $4 or $5 for a pound of butter (again, about half a kilo), and $6 for half a kilo of coffee is decent. $3.40 for a liter of oat milk is low for us. From an American point of view, your prices are pretty good. What impresses me is the variety the store had. Chili surprised me, but tortillas? Not at all what I would have expected. And the yogurt in a carton, is that more like kefir? I would think yogurt too thick to pour. Very nice video, thanks for the look around.

Prices in the UK are stupid, especially on fuel.. The fruits looked like damsons, a tart type of plum that makes great jam. Butter here is £2 to 2.50 for 250g.. Enjoyed seeing inside Lidl. Totally understand about the cheese, the middle shelf in my fridge is the cheese shelf(with a little yoghurt down the left side), but mostly a range of lovely cheeses!

I'm from armenia and the 180grams of Belarusian shitty butter costs around 1350 AMD which is the equivalent of 35 SEK. Because of the Russian EEU which is the European union fake equivalent, makes our prices SUPER expensive. And no, it's not due to inflation, it's because of putin and closed markets.
