This is served as dessert or as part of main course in Quang Nam, Vietnam.
Recipe
Ingredients:
3 cup glutinous = 450 g
2 cups black beans = 275 g
2 cup sugar = 300 g brown sugar
* In the clip, I use 250 g of white sugar :)
3 Tbsp sesame seeds
2 Tbsp minced ginger
1/2 tsp salt
1 Tbsp cooking oil.
That is Quang Nam traditional way. You like coconut, then mix coconut oil. Or mix with sweeten coconut flake.
For cooking with Instant Pot method:

Sticky rice: Wash, rinse, and soak in water for about 6-8 hours, or overnight. Drain, mix with 1/4 tsp of salt.
Black beans: Washed, rinse, and soak with cold water, about 6-8 hours, or overnight.
Remove the beans. Keep the soaked water (using the color, if you want to replace the new water, it's up to you). Add more water if necessary, bring it to 3 cups of liquid.
Pour the liquid into the Instant Pot with the beans.
Select Bean/Chili, normal, HP for 2 minutes, and NR after 20 minutes.
When it finished, measure 1 cup of sugar and 1/4 tsp salt and ginger to the pot, using Saute function, keep stirring and let the beans absorbed the sugar. Turn off / on the heat if needed, don't let the mixture burned
Remove all the beans from the mixture after about 10 mins.
Pour 1 cup of sugar into sugar syrup left over from black beans (about 1 cups). Continue saute the syrup until the syrup sticky, about 3 mins. Remember to stir constantly.
In the same time, cook the sticky rice in another rice cooker. Rice + 1.4 tsp salt + 360 ml water.
Transfer the cooked sticky rice into the syrup IP. Stir and blend the rice with the syrup. Saute function for 3 mins. On/ Off the heat if needed.
Placed the beans back to the IP, mix them gently
Transfer the black bean sticky rice to the mold is already lined with roasted sesame.
Press tightly on the mold. Add a layer of top sesame.
Let it cool, cut into small pieces.
