Are you a new swimmer or not too confident in the water? Breastroke is a fantastic first stroke to learn as you can swim it entirely without putting your face in the water (if you don't want to yet). It is also a great stroke for those with shoulder or lower limb injuries as it is a linear stroke without too much rotation of the joints.
