I’ve worked on my wedge play for probably the last 3-4 years, and I absolutely love wedge shots now. I’m exactly the same as you Brad, I just feel the shot, whether it’s a flop or a bump and run. I’m a 66 year old woman so don’t hit it particularly far, so my wedge play is really important for me to score low.

when you're brad dalke, you just yell at the ball in the air and it does what you say.

Best advice here about making the table/chart with your wedges and distances. Will make a HUGE difference!!

For lower handicappers, Its a good idea to use the balls you use on the course for this distance measuring. Range balls, especially with wedges, are a different feel and will fly different.

Excellent video. Thanks for the affirmation; I have two notecards in my bag with yardages for all clubs and multiple yardages for wedges.

Please do a video on keeping ur arms along with your chest and not letting them lag behind. I have a problem of my arms getting behind my body and can’t compress my irons and hit irons high.

Great advice Brad. Would love to get some tips on pitching or chipping out of bermuda greenside when the ball is sitting down in it.

Good idea on practicing the 1/2, 3/4 and full shots to get yardages for the wedges. I definitely need to do that. Looking forward to you putting video which I assume will be coming soon? :-)

Brad needs to look into teaching. He's a touch nervous with the camera, but when he's not talking directly to it he seems very calm. He'd make a fantastic golf instructor.

Well at least you don’t have to spend money on a full set of irons. But seriously it might be your shaft, could be to stiff or too flexible. You can test your swing speed and possible make a change.

It’s a common thing! I felt the same way and my dad said he had the same issue when he first started playing. It will get better! It has to do with not compressing the ball correctly and changing the loft of the club. I’m pretty certain that at least one of those reasons is the reason. I’d watch a lesson on wrist position in the back swing and try to practice your takeaway as much as you can.

Yeah, I have a beginners set that I purchased of marketplace from an older gentleman. It was a full set. I purchased a new driver with a stiffer shaft, and that solved issues right away. Of course, a good golfer can make anything work, but I do believe I'm due for a fitted set. I just don't have $1200 laying around lmao. @@ryanharrison4058
