Moved to indiana on May 1st. Spent 3 weeks trying everything with no luck. Started watching your channel, i havent gotten skunked a single day since. By far the most helpful fishing channel ive watched. Everyone else wants you to watch then catch fish. This guys wants YOU to go catch the fish. Big difference in education quality.

Great video. I must say, I live here in Florida, and I catch em in the grass with a wobble head. I use the Strike King wobble head and the key is it has a pointed head to get through the grass better. I call it my weedless Florida crank bait. You pull it through just like you would a speed worm. It works absolutely great. And like you said....it has a penchant for getting big big fish to bite it. Try it in the grass. Just make sure you use the pointed head.

Just talked a buddy into the MB brailist, and he fell in love with it first time out throwing a jig! The wobble head bite is so awesome on that setup, and using a smaller hook with a 3" rage menace is awesome at Dale Hollow in November/December. The 6'10" expride/aldebaran mgl has also been great for me for light Texas rigs, like a 1/0 owner worm hook, unpegged 3/16 tungsten, a Zman tickler, smallmouth killer! Especially in rivers! Thanks for sharing Matt, you haven't steered me wrong yet, and your rod choices for techniques has been spot on 👊, appreciate it brother!

Heck yeah. I like fishing the swing head. Truly a big fish magnet. I found the secret big magnet by accident one day fishing a local tournament. I hadn't had a bite so I was trying everything in my tackle box and just happened to pick up the Biffle hard head and on second cast I hooked into a 5+lb bass.

Hey Matt and Tim, would you guys mind doing a compare/contrast video covering the Tokyo Rig, Jika Rig, and the Free Rig? These rigs seem similar, and I'd like to see your process to decide which one to use when. I am drawn most to the Jika Rig given the areas I fish, but I'd like to hear your thoughts about where each of these similar rigs works best.

Great technique! Can I add something? I don't mean to step on toes but it's something I've found with smallmouth especially. They tend to pick it up and swim with it towards you. Keep reeling until you feel them go one direction or the other and then sweep your hookset and they won't come off. I also love the Owner hooks. Best hook on the market by a LONG shot. (no I don't work for Owner. I wish I did!)

I bought some custom made wobble heads painted about 6 years ago and I have loved them with a rage craw, but when I found them in tungsten and started using XZONE 2 years ago it got so much better, and I hate to talk about Junebug colors, because they’re getting harder to find ,but I bought several packs of both ZOOM and XZONE along with a hand poured crawfish 🦞 that I love. I fished a tournament last Sunday in North Carolina and caught 2 kickers on my tungsten wobble head on a rocky humps in the middle of the lake I fished 🔥🔥

Hey Matt thanks Alot for this great video I live in Missouri and these lakes are very rocky with lay downs brush piles. Hey Matt some bass fisherman the other day told me that he doesn't use wobble head's and I got in my car and said to myself that's not smart. Because Matt we have the perfect terrain for this type of technique. Hey Matt I this has nothing to do the video but what do you think about the new curado rod's tell me your thoughts I'm going to buy new rods and I don't want to make the mistakes I made in the past I use to spend 300 dollars from 5 different companies and I was not happy kistler, ark , just to name a few . Cheap reel seats not enough guides, and the main thing was I just felt the rods were not balanced properly. But as far as guides the new curados have fazlit incertis and I think I'll be fine with my casting distance. I mean from the reviews I've read people are saying these new curados are a good buy I just want to hear your opinion because I really respect you and Tim's opinion on equipment or anything else for that matter. I can't believe I'm going to go back to a Japanese company but it's a fact of life they make high quality rod's. Just please Matt when you get the time please let me know what you think. GOD bless you and Tim's families your pal fisherman Mike from Missouri.
