I think that is the first time I've seen Sydney from that side of the airplane in daylight. And the first time I have seen the long runway at 12:40 that I departed on for America a couple of times. Thanks. I enjoyed that...

I know quite a few people from the UK living in Australia that manage to go back home anytime their hearts desire. My first attempt for the UK Covid stopped me in my tracks...

That was a year before I was even born. My mum took me there a few times when I was a kid but I don't remember it. When I was in the army I spent months there supporting the Olympic Games and Para Olympics in 2000 and the lead up and beyond. By wheels up on 4 November 2000 I think we were happy to see the back of Sydney. I haven't been back since and have no desire. But I doubt I'd recognize the place again. We'd get lost even back then.
